Presentation of Political: Sociology and International Relations Department
The department of political sociology and international relations is one of four departments of the National Graduate School of Political Sciences.
The department provides an academic training for students who have chosen the following two specialties :
Analysis of foreign policy.
Based on the orientation and perspectives that political sciences give in political sociology and international relations, the department sets academic goals. These are summed up in a high-level training and in the selection of teachers whose scientific profile fits the needs of the department.
Many consultants are at the disposal of the department to assist students in their studies, bringing the richness of academic modules taught at a certain dimension: result of a long practice.
This combination of knowledge develops the students’ skills whose impact is verified on the ground during their internships in various ministries such as : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The department head Mr. Lakhdari Mansour obtained a doctorate in political sciences and international relations from the University of Algiers 3. Currently, He is a lecturer and the department head and has to his credit numerous studies at national and international levels. His central focus is on security studies and any related issues.
